IP Value
IP (ingress protection) shows the water and dust protection level for the product and how well it is sealed against these environmental effects. IP44 is generally used as the industry benchmark for outdoor – but for light fittings that are fully exposed to harsh weather conditions, the protection offered by a IP65 rating is recommended.
